ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam

Finally finished!! Amazingly, poly count is just round 850... which i'm still wondering whether Max messed up on the counting part... (but i also found a few hidden floating vertices on the Strike, so ya... haha)

Texturing took bout 10 hours, modelling bout 8, so altogether took 18 hours
Anywayz, some of the textures are pics from air-brushed models i got from the net.. i don't have the equipment or skills to air-brush mine, and i didn't like that glossy super plasticky look that the toy models have, so i found some photos on the net to use as textures.

As for the modelling, i found out that the head looks a little messed up... thats why i didn't render a frontal view... from the front, its head doesn't look much like the Freedom's head.. even though it looks like it from the side... lol...

Btw, got a METEOR unit model kit from my brother as an early birthday present yesterday! Haha... so nice.. but its just a 1/400 scale, so it kinda small... about the size of 1 1/2 nokia phones.. but it won't stop me from modelling it either... Will probably model it in 2 weeks time, when my grad's over...

Piloted by Kira... this is considered the most powerful gundam in the series... he is now in "Hi-MAT Mode", if im not wrong, aka "High Maneuver Aerial Tactics Mode".. and he fires a barrage of beams from his rail-guns/plasma guns..ok so much for the info...
